today was one of those days where u end up doin every thing alone and start to realize things around you that you normally dont when we have people around.
so skoo ended bout 11, was sposed to meet dhinesh to look at t-shirts in town, but he as usual ditched me (claimin he din wanna get the flu coz it was rainin) so anyway, had lunch, followed by my dosage of library nap and then gym (sucks when u go alone, look like a retard tryna act cool while doin bench press). so i left to outram park mrt, spotiswoode park to collect my pay! (which will go into the funds of getting a new multi effect unit for my guitar) yea so reached the place at 2 sharp. fuckers still having lunch, so the clerk is like *in a typical singlish accent* "boy ah, u comes back aft 3 o'croc, the accountant go markan hor," so i was like wft?
oh u gotta see this area, spotiswoode park, its like a row of colonial shop houses that have this ancient feel, with a some of them as make-do coffee shops that somehow give you the impression they might just have good food. and so they did, i purchased myself a meal which consisted of "satu kosong, satu telor dan teh panaas". i have to admit it was a way hearty meal as compared to a McSpicy meal, considering the fact it was probably 3-4 times cheaper. the setting was the post rain skies, sound of posh cars rolling over gravel and my glasses fogging up every time i sip the hot tea. so after the meal, i still had about 45 mins on my hand, so i decided to explore the area. i'll skip most of the details but i'd like to bring your attention that the tanjong pagar railway station was just at the back of the spotiswoode park. the station as you already know, belongs to our neighbors above us, and amidst the beauty of the spotiswoode park area, the railway station, unfortunately was an eye sore. i shall speak no further. thereafter i took my cheque and returned home.
the day is slowly comin to an end, with me playing my flight simulator X, i'll leave u with a screen shot of my final approach at Stika airport, off Seattle, USA. bon voyage!
